Position Overview:

The Clinical Psychometrist plays a crucial role in the administration and evaluation of psychological and neuropsychological assessments under the guidance of a Principal Investigator or Research Coordinator. This position requires a deep understanding of interpreting assessment results in relation to established norms, as well as recognizing the limitations of various tests regarding their validity and reliability.

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews with participants involved in research studies.
  • Administer psychological and neuropsychological assessments to evaluate, interpret, and document findings.
  • Score evaluations based on established criteria and recognized norms.
  • Oversee the collection, organization, entry, verification, analysis, and dissemination of research data.
  • Prepare clinical reports that analyze and summarize assessment outcomes.
  • Perform systematic reviews of relevant research literature.
  • Engage in participant recruitment for ongoing research initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate research meetings and collaborative discussions.
  • Schedule assessment sessions for study participants.
  • Manage the data collection process to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct literature and online searches to find documents and articles pertinent to current research objectives.
  • Compile and organize recruitment materials and testing resources.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of participant information.
  • Provide feedback to participants regarding their psychological assessment results.
  • Recognize symptoms associated with various psychological and behavioral disorders.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is necessary.
