SAP Application Consultant

At BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled SAP Application Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our SAP development team, you will be responsible for providing support, operation, and maintenance activities relating to SaskPower's SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement customizations in accordance with SaskPower and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership in the development of new SAP solutions, ensuring they meet the company's requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Perform batch job management, including scheduling, monitoring, and efficiency improvements.
Deliverables/Quality of Service:
  • Support of SAP development, ensuring high-quality code and efficient solutions.
  • Batch job scheduling and monitoring using defined technical tools, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Quality Assurance, ensuring all deliverables meet the company's standards.
  • Development Environment and Version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and version management.

Post-secondary education in computer technology (BSc, MSc) and a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an ABAP/J2EE/WebDynpro/Fiori/Gateway/HANA Studio Developer with ABAP certification and knowledge of object-oriented programming are required. Experience with SAP Solution Manager for managing custom code and Change Management (ChaRM) is also essential. Additionally, experience with SAP partner products, such as Cideon Product Suite for AutoCad integration, Redwood, Output Management, OpenText document storage, and Process Orchestration (SAP PO) for managing data exchange, is highly desirable. One full life cycle SAP project implementation and experience in design and development of corporate systems are also preferred.
