About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Specialist to join our team at MALWA CLEANING SERVICES INC. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients.
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to maintain a dust-free environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a clean and comfortable environment for our clients.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure our clients have everything they need.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients.
Requirements
  • Own transportation to ensure you can travel to various locations as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding role requiring regular bending, crouching, kneeling and standing.
  • Attention to detail to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Punctuality and reliability to ensure you can meet the needs of our clients.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • 32 to 40 hours per week of work.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
