Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Implementation Science

Job Summary:

The University of British Columbia is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team in the Therapeutics Initiative. The successful candidate will conduct research in Implementation Science and lead stakeholder engagement related to healthcare systems change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in Implementation Science and lead stakeholder engagement related to healthcare systems change management
  • Lead the implementation of an intervention bundle across hospitals to reduce laboratory test over-use
  • Lead and/or assist with qualitative research (interviews, data analysis)
  • Write research abstracts, summary reports, and scientific articles, and submit articles to peer-reviewed journals
  • Present study results to the scientific community at national and international conferences
  • Identify and pursue secondary research projects and research funding
  • Collaborate with other research teams
Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will have a doctorate degree in a relevant discipline (i.e., Epidemiology, Public Health or a related field as long as the candidate has a strong experience in Implementation Science). Minimum of four years related experience with a strong research publication record.
