About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solar Panel Installer to join our team at Simple Solar. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of solar panel systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar panel installation industry, with a strong background in electrical work and a valid trade certification.
  • Work Site Environment: You will be working outdoors, often at heights, and will be required to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Tasks: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, utilize hand and power tools, and ensure that all installations meet the highest safety standards.
  • Certifications and Training: You will be required to hold a valid Working at Heights training certification and a Fall Arrest Protection Training Course certification.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Screening Questions: You will be required to answer a series of screening questions to ensure that you meet the necessary qualifications for the role.
  • Green Job: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, including the installation of renewable energy systems.
