Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team at 2659402 Ontario Corp. As a key member of our food service management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to meet quality control standards.
  • Team Management: Train and supervise kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates and supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and ensure that staff are physically capable of performing their duties.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
