About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team at New Minas Irving Big Stop. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present food and beverages in a clean and safe environment, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and replenish condiments and supplies as needed.
  • Take-Out and Delivery: Package take-out food and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient service, and contribute to a positive and respectful team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
