We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at RONA Inc. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in designing and implementing quantitative and qualitative primary research projects to address key strategic issues for our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage consumer research projects by providing development expertise and implementing primary research projects to provide high-quality information
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients to identify opportunities to add more value to the business through research
  • Develop and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor performance metrics of our various banners
  • Provide research reports that summarize complex research findings into concise, clear, and actionable information
  • Act as an expert in understanding and using our research data
  • Develop strong relationships with key support teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, IT)
  • Manage partner relationships with our external research suppliers
  • Take full responsibility for the planning and delivery of their work by balancing the requirements of internal and external teams and helping prioritize workloads accordingly
Requirements:
  • University degree in Marketing, Statistics or other related field; a master's degree is an asset
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of experience interacting with clients, in developing and managing quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • Good understanding of various research, and statistical and data analysis methodologies
  • Confidence in designing research projects that will help address business problems
  • Practical experience in marketing support and/or customer experience roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and high tolerance for change
  • Professionalism and confidence in communicating to company executives
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and succinctly using PowerPoint
  • Excellent business document writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with a statistical survey analysis tool (e.g., SPSS)
