About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Kamaljit Singh Sivia. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and assistance to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting good health and hygiene practices
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, and toileting
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Previous experience in a related field of employment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Setting

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the client's home, providing one-on-one support and care. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will need to work with clients of varying ages and abilities.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
