Fresche Solutions Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior RPG/PHP Developer to join our team. As a Senior RPG/PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and documenting business system software. You will work closely with our team to develop and deliver client deliverables, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems using RPG and PHP programming languages.
  • Test and debug software systems to ensure correctness and quality.
  • Document software systems through textual explanations and visual diagrams.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with QA to ensure test plans are thorough and effective.
  • Proactively manage client expectations, concerns, and questions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or College degree in Software Development or related program.
  • 10+ years of experience with IBMi (iSeries, AS/400), DB2 database, and RPGLE language.
  • Experience with embedded SQL within RPG and data modernization tools such as RDi.
  • CL programming experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFS (qsh, etc.).
  • Strong PHP skills – versions 5 through 7.
  • Working knowledge of RESTful programming.
  • Working knowledge of web programming, including CSS, JS.
  • Recent programming and analysis experience in AS/400, iSeries, RPGILE, Free format RPGLE, SQL.
  • Advanced DB2 SQL Programming.
  • Effective communication with all levels of employees and management.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
