About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GNSS Algorithms Engineer to join our team at Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division. As a key member of our network processing team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing industry-leading network positioning algorithms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement advanced GNSS algorithms for network processing.
  • Mentor junior team members to develop their skills and expertise in GNSS data processing and estimation.
  • Interface with marketing, product management, and systems teams to create robust requirements, architectural designs, and design documentation.
  • Work with verification designers to plan, execute tests, and develop automated test suites.
  • Analyze data using graphical and statistical tools to evaluate solutions and identify software defects.
  • Explore new advancements in positioning and develop innovative solutions to incorporate them into our products and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in geomatics engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with GNSS data processing, estimation, and positioning principles.
  • Experience with RTK and/or PPP GNSS processing.
  • Programming skills in C/C++ with demonstrated experience in debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Critical thinking, data analysis, and research skills to develop solutions.
  • Innate curiosity and a keen interest in all types of positioning.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to interface effectively with colleagues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary and distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in geomatics, electronics, and electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience or equivalent experience at a research institute.
  • Experience with PPP or Network RTK correction generation algorithms.
