Position Overview

The Culinary Support Staff at SOUTH SILK ROAD RESTAURANT plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This position involves various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our culinary services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation: Clean and disinfect kitchen items including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Dishwashing: Manually wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage locations.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash efficiently.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish kitchen floors.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.
