We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at GDL Lawn And Snow Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and Direct Landscape Construction Work
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features to ensure high-quality results and meet client expectations.
Manage Labour and MaterialsEstimate labour and materials required for projects, requisition or order necessary supplies, and ensure efficient use of resources to maintain profitability and meet deadlines.
Maintain Work Records and LogsAccurately record and maintain logs of work completed, including materials used, labour hours, and any issues or concerns that arise during projects.
Read Blueprints and DrawingsReview and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements and specifications.
Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and SuppliesProcure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support project execution and maintain a well-stocked inventory.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesWork in a fast-paced outdoor environment, handling heavy loads, and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling. Ensure attention to detail and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
Work Site EnvironmentWork outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesAbility to handle heavy loads, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
