We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Assistant to join our team at Café Lunette. As a key member of our culinary and front of house teams, you will take pride in maintaining a clean and organized dish area, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate dishwashers efficiently to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Wash and polish glassware and flatware to a high standard.
  • Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts, and dish racks to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking supplies and products in a timely manner.
  • Safely handle and store cleaning products to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform general dish area maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, organization, and garbage removal.
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task to meet the demands of our kitchen.
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing, with regular breaks as needed.
