We are seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker to provide essential care to clients in a supportive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
- Provide support with medication administration and daily exercises, ensuring clients receive the care they need.
- Monitor client's health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals, maintaining open communication.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, creating a sense of connection and well-being.
- Assist with light household duties, such as cleaning and meal preparation, maintaining a safe and comfortable living space.
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Canada, ensuring expertise and knowledge in caregiving.
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients, fostering a positive and supportive relationship.
- Physical ability to perform lifting and supporting movements, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, accommodating the needs of clients and the organization.
