Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Manitoba Ltd O/A KFC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on quality and safety. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
