About the Role

Chef Eats Inc is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meats for sale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
  • Cut fish into steaks and fillets
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
  • Grind meats
  • Prepare special orders
Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter at Chef Eats Inc, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. You must have excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
