Position Overview

Wah G Wah Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Financial Controller to oversee financial operations within our restaurant chain. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate material, human, and financial resources to execute organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Organization: Authorize and structure the establishment of major departments along with senior staff positions.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate the activities of various regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Objective Setting: Establish organizational objectives and formulate or approve relevant policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or delegate representatives for official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimal working conditions.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of more than 20 individuals, ensuring effective management and support.

Travel Requirements
  • Company vehicle provided.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and regularly as needed.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a capacity to manage a large workload.
Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree required.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
