About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Windsor Endodontics. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Sanitizing and Polishing: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and visually appealing space.
Security and Safety
  • Criminal Record Check: Ensure a thorough background check is conducted to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to support their growth and development.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Awareness Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Work Environment
  • Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
