About the Opportunity

The University of Toronto's Department of Psychiatry invites applications for the position of Director of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry. This is a key leadership role that will drive excellence in research, education, and service provision for older adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Division, aligning with the Department's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of faculty members, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Secure external funding to support research, education, and service initiatives.

Requirements

  • Eligibility for an academic appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in research, clinical training, education, or creative professional activity.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team building and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
