About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer-in-Training to join our team at Plum Gas Solutions. As a Process Engineer-in-Training, you will play a crucial role in creating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), generating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and collaborating with our operations and service teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update P&IDs and manufacturing drawings for customer and R&D projects under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry codes and standards and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to incorporate changes and updates.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment and internal processes.
  • Work closely with operations and service teams to understand process requirements and challenges.
  • Provide engineering support and troubleshooting assistance for operational issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and programs for operations staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in process engineering or a related role.
  • Relevant certifications or coursework is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Visio).
  • Eligible for registration with APEGA within 4 years.
