Core Responsibilities
  • Engage with designers and product managers to convert wireframes and visual designs into functional and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. Collaborate closely with the team to grasp user requirements, maintain consistency across platforms, and deliver outstanding user experiences.
  • Produce clean, well-documented, and efficient code that complies with our coding standards and best practices. You will be accountable for writing high-quality code that is maintainable, scalable, and testable.
  • Participate in code evaluations and offer constructive feedback to peers. Actively engage in the code review process to uphold the quality and uniformity of the codebase.
  • Collaborate with the backend team to merge front-end components with APIs and services, ensuring smooth data flow and seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of our front-end infrastructure, which includes build tools, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines. Ensure efficiency and consistency across the team.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in front-end technologies and trends, evaluating and implementing them as necessary.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of our front-end design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our web applications.
  • Engage in team meetings and discussions, sharing insights and contributing to the overall success of the team.
  • Support the creation of technical documentation and knowledge sharing, ensuring your work is well-documented and accessible to the team.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in version control systems such as Git, with the ability to collaborate effectively with fellow developers.
  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools, including Confluence, JIRA, and Jenkins, is essential.
  • Strong grasp of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, and responsive design, with the ability to create visually appealing and functional user interfaces.
  • Experience with testing frameworks for front-end applications, capable of writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • A genuine passion for learning new technologies and trends, with the ability to apply them in your work.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications.
  • A solid understanding of software development best practices and principles, including design patterns, code quality, and maintainability.
Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
