Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team at Tabreed Thermal Control Limited. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure and establish reference points for system installations.
  • Assemble and install components for refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Utilize welding and brazing equipment to measure, cut, and connect piping.
  • Initiate system operations and conduct leak tests using appropriate testing devices.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including recharging refrigerant systems and calibrating regulators.
  • Interpret and apply gas codes effectively.
  • Manage the handling, recovery, and storage of refrigerants.
  • Repair and replace parts for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump systems.
Certifications
  • Possession of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification is required.
Systems Knowledge
  • Familiarity with heat pump and ventilation systems.
Transportation Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Work Environment
  • This role is physically demanding and may involve handling heavy loads.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential.
