Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Accounting Advantage. As a key member of our financial analysis team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial modeling, market research, and analysis to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Decision Support: Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, conducting market research, and analyzing data to support business strategies and initiatives.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, market trends, and risk assessment to inform investment strategies and portfolio management.
  • Investor Reporting & Correspondence: Coordinate with various divisions to develop, prepare, and distribute detailed reporting packages and investment materials for our equity partners.
  • Project Financing: Prepare and distribute due diligence materials for lenders.
  • Ad-Hoc Analytical Support: Provide analytical support across our business units and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • CFA, CPA, or other similar designation.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly in building flexible, robust, and user-friendly financial models.
  • Strong business, financial acumen, and an owner's mindset.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
