About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at the Animal Health Centre. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
  • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians
  • Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on preventative care
  • Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist with animal dentistry
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Registration as a Registered Animal Health Technologist or Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Immunization records and a criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
