About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pre-Board Screening Officer at GardaWorld. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen travellers and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering secure areas
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and incidents
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport and maintain a high level of situational awareness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and secure travel experience

Requirements

  • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Clean criminal record and eligibility for a security clearance
  • 18 years of age or older
  • English verbal and written proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
