Position Overview:

The Shift Supervisor role is essential in overseeing the activities of Team Members during shifts, ensuring that standards related to personnel, product quality, cleanliness, and exceptional Guest Experience are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management

  • Exemplifies respect towards every Team Member and Guest.
  • Addresses immediate concerns that arise during shifts.
  • Fosters a vibrant and enjoyable work atmosphere.
  • Reports Team Member performance to the Restaurant Manager or General Manager.
  • Trains and guides new Team Members effectively.
  • Ensures optimal Team Member coverage and supports various roles during peak times.

Guest Service Management

  • Prioritizes the Guest experience in all interactions.
  • Responds to Guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Assists in implementing company-wide incentive initiatives.

Operational Oversight

  • Maintains compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Adheres to and enforces all Tim Hortons operational standards.
  • Manages shift cash handling procedures.
  • Stays informed on all operational updates.
  • Supports the Manager/Owner in driving sales and transaction volume.
  • Completes all necessary shift documentation, including logs and waste records.
  • Escalates any issues or concerns to Management.

Health and Safety Compliance

  • Operates in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Understands and follows safe work practices.
  • Utilizes personal protective equipment as required.
  • Reports any injuries, unsafe conditions, or security incidents to the Manager/Owner.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in Quick Service Restaurants, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with availability required between 4:30 AM and 10:30 PM.
