Position Summary

Under the general oversight of the Health Services Manager, and while embodying the Mission, Values, and Management Philosophy of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, the Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) delivers expert nursing care to patients, including those with intricate and unpredictable health conditions. This role encompasses independent nursing services, administering prescribed medical interventions, taking a leadership position within the healthcare team, and orchestrating patient care and discharge processes.

Experience Required:
  • Recent experience in acute medical nursing is essential.
Educational Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing education program is mandatory.
Certification/Licensure/Registration:
  • Current registration with CRNM is required.
  • Active involvement in professional organizations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), is preferred.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Adherence to the scope of practice as outlined in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
  • If no candidates meet the qualifications, the employer may consider applicants who do not fulfill the above criteria.

Note: This position necessitates a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
