Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics and Record-Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess and maintain a valid AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Documentation and Compliance: Familiarity with bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report, trans-border documentation, and trip reports.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in tractor-trailer truck driving.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to travel cross-border and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Working Conditions
  • Hours: 25 to 35 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
