About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Publisher to join our Marketing & Communications team at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating, designing, and executing marketing materials across our digital channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the conception, design, and execution of digital design solutions that align with our brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support digital design and publishing tasks, including website and intranet landing pages, site maps, user flow, and wireframes.
  • Develop and publish pages using our existing AEM component library, ensuring all content aligns with our brand and UX/UI guidelines.
  • Format, test, and publish content promptly, following editorial review and approval processes.
  • Collaborate with the Integrated Planning team to ensure all content pieces are represented and coordinated for publishing.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are followed in content design and execution, including designing UX visuals, subheads, image placement, and copy layout.
  • Monitor website optimization tools to maintain web accessibility and SEO standards.
  • Stay current with digital content best practices, including industry standards for web and mobile sites, emerging technologies, UX design techniques, accessibility, and usability.
Requirements
  • University/College Degree or Professional Certificate in Digital Media, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Website Design and Digital Publishing.
  • Previous experience within a corporate Marketing department is an asset.
  • Good understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform or similar CMS platforms with front-end development abilities.
  • Proficient in Content Management Tools/Systems, Website UX and Responsive Design, and Deep Understanding of accessibility standards WCAG 2.0.
