We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at SEAL-IT GROUP. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and tidy.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including backhoes, pick-up trucks, small engine equipment, and tractor mowers.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing.
  • Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with backhoes, pick-up trucks, small engine equipment, and tractor mowers.
  • Knowledge of landscape construction techniques and materials.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including wet, damp, and hot environments.
