We are seeking a highly skilled Building Science Technologist to join our team at Pinchin. As a key member of our Building Science Group, you will be responsible for conducting building and property condition assessments, capital planning, and reviewing existing buildings and structures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough building and property condition assessments to identify design and remedial work options.
- Develop designs and specifications for restoration projects, ensuring quality standards and design requirements are met.
- Prepare detailed reports of findings, summarizing and interpreting field data, and creating AutoCAD drawings.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial involvement and coordination.
- Maintain QA/QC and health and safety protocols within the group.
- Architectural Technician/Civil Engineering Technologist/Construction Technician/Science diploma, B.A. or B.Sc. in Architecture, B.Sc. in Building Science.
- Knowledge of building construction or maintenance, with experience in building condition assessments and asset management software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle required for work-related travel.
