Facilities Planner

This posting is to fill one (1) fulltime permanent position in the Department of Highways and Public Works.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Property Management team. This position is for a permanent fulltime Facilities Planner/AutoCAD Officer and is based in the City of Whitehorse, Yukon working 75 hours biweekly.

• Identify options and present recommendations to address office space requirements for client departments
• Produce conceptual drawings for renovations and/or new space in owned and leased buildings
• Act as the project manager for those projects where the landlord is the contracting authority
• Supervise other Facilities Planners in RCAP's team

• Completion of post-secondary education (preferably with an emphasis on architecture, planning or interior design)
• Experience producing drawings in AutoCAD
• Experience and/or qualifications in property, project, or asset management
• Experience in a supervisory role

• Valid Yukon Class 5 driver's licence
