Senior Financial Analyst

Unisync is a leading provider of corporate apparel and public safety equipment supplies across Canada and the United States. Our customer base includes major airlines, government entities, and other prominent organizations.

This is a full-time Senior Financial Analyst role located in Mississauga, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for full cycle accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and ensure accurate accounting for right of use assets and lease liabilities.
  • Assist in creating a revised bank reconciliation process to alleviate month-end close process.
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations by division.
  • Reconcile subledgers to GL control accounts.
  • Intercompany transactions and reconciliations for various entities.
  • Banking - ACH/EFT, positive pay. Assist in setting up ACH/EFT and monitoring daily banking.
  • Analysis of financial statements.
  • Assist in maintaining accounting policies and procedures/internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Very knowledgeable in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable customization.
  • Good understanding of the monthly accounting cycle.
