About the Role

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of small to medium-sized projects in the industrial construction sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to project teams, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects.
  2. Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet client requirements.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards and are delivered to the satisfaction of clients.
  6. Financial Management: Manage project budgets and finances to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
  7. Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements
  1. Education: University diploma in Engineering or a Technical college degree in a relevant field.
  2. Registration: Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
  3. Experience: 15 years or more of experience in construction/industrial environment, with a proven track record of site management, safety, customer service, and financial responsibilities.
  4. Skills: Strong project management skills, with experience in managing and delivering capital brownfield projects from concept to close-out. Proven commercial acumen and knowledge of project controls and project reporting requirements.
