Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding patient and customer service aligned with the values of Greenshield Holdings.
- Administer intravenous therapies and monitor patients under physician supervision.
- Provide intramuscular vaccinations and TB skin tests as prescribed.
- Take necessary actions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Follow best practices and safety protocols in the workplace.
- Report any adverse events as required.
- Comply with nursing standards as established by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Engage in ongoing professional development and education.
- Minimum of one year of experience with IV administration; hospital nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with IV antibiotics and biologics is advantageous.
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an asset.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Possession of a valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
- Excellent patient assessment and educational skills.
- Physical capability to perform the daily responsibilities outlined.
