Construction Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Newtech Renovation Inc. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to ensure a smooth and durable surface for our clients.

• Installation and Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
• Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, including cutting and fitting drywall sheets to size.
• Plastering and Finishing: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a durable and attractive finish.
• Specialized Tasks: Cut and install metal corner beads, fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids, and install acoustic tile and hangers for suspended ceilings.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drywall installations meet our high standards for quality and durability.

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
• Language: English.
• Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
