We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Iron Horse Rentals Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research to assess the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanical systems, components, and structures.
- Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Investigate mechanical failures and unexpected maintenance issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Plan and manage projects, including preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
- Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance projects.
- Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, reviewing and approving designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance and engineering is an asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
