Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process sales transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, restocking shelves, and rotating merchandise to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide solutions to their needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in the display of merchandise, including setting up and maintaining visual displays and ensuring that all merchandise is properly priced and stocked.
  • Price Quotes and Estimates: Provide price quotes and estimates to customers, including information on credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Sales Records: Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control, including tracking sales data and providing reports as needed.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, maintaining a high level of energy and productivity while meeting the physical demands of the role.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail sales experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
