Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Data Migration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data migration team, you'll be responsible for converting client data from legacy systems to our Q2 platform. You'll work closely with clients to determine requirements and customizations, and design/create Python/SQL code to successfully migrate data.
Responsibilities- Design and implement data migration frameworks using Python and SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data migration issues.
- Document and track production environment modifications.
- Escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate resources.
- Establish relationships with partner teams that impact technical support.
- Follow internal change control processes to implement production modifications.
- Contribute to a knowledge/FAQ database for supported software.
- 5+ years of experience with Python and SQL.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous data migration experience.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Enterprise/mid-sized software delivery experience preferred.
- Understanding of remote tools and networking required.
