Job Summary:
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified FSL Hybrid teacher to join our team on a long-term occasional basis. As a FSL Hybrid teacher, you will be responsible for teaching French as a Second Language (FSL) to students in a hybrid model, which combines online and in-person learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach up to 5 blocks of FSL per day
- Teach Music, Health, and/or Visual Arts for the remainder of the blocks
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- French qualifications are preferred, but consideration will be given to those with an interest/background in teaching French
- Ability to work in a hybrid model and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
