Lead ResearchNB's Strategic Direction

ResearchNB is a provincial research organization seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive its strategic direction, foster innovation, and ensure successful execution of its strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the strategic direction of ResearchNB, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Represent ResearchNB at regional, national, and international forums, promoting the organization's initiatives and achievements.
  • Report to the Board of Directors (BOD), providing regular updates on strategic initiatives, organizational performance, and financial status.
  • Ensure ResearchNB meets or exceeds its performance targets annually and reports to the Department of Post-Secondary Education & Labor (PETL) quarterly.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., PhD, MBA, or equivalent) with a strong background in scientific research and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of the research and innovation ecosystem, including knowledge of funding mechanisms, policy frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, including both oral and written communication, is required. Proficiency in French is a desirable asset.
