About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Language Instructor to join our team at StudyPug Tutors Richmond Inc. As a Language Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality language instruction to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and materials to students of various skill levels
    • Lead discussions, seminars, and workshops to promote language learning and cultural understanding
    • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve language skills
  • Student Support
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to students with special needs or learning difficulties
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation
  • Curriculum Development
    • Contribute to the development of language curriculum and programs
    • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement language learning materials and resources
  • Professional Development
    • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in language instruction
    • Share expertise and knowledge with colleagues to enhance language teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as linguistics, education, or a related field
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in language instruction, teaching, or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and management
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other educational technology
