Job Title: Healthcare Security Personnel

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Personnel to join our team at Securiguard. As a Healthcare Security Personnel, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide security patrols and respond to incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures
Requirements:
  • Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals in a healthcare environment
  • Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting
  • Excellent observational and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to walk/stand 12-hour shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents
  • Ability to complete accurate and detailed report writing, multi-task and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset
  • Flexibility to work continental shifts, including weekends, and holidays
