About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at FLASH CPA. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate tax returns and personal tax returns.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Office.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Strong understanding of computerized bookkeeping systems and spreadsheet software.
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
