Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at FLASH CPA. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate tax returns and personal tax returns.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Office.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Strong understanding of computerized bookkeeping systems and spreadsheet software.
- Area of Specialization: Accounting.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
