About the Role

The Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join its team within Information Technology Services (ITS). This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to develop their skills and contribute to the Bank's mission of keeping Canada's economy safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Identity and Access Management (IAM) services to strengthen internal and external access to the Bank's digital resources.
  • Monitor and enforce IT Security Standards across the Bank.
  • Provide advisory and assistance for users.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, deployment, and support of IAM capabilities to manage identities and control access for users of Bank systems.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate of a bachelor's degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, cyber security, or a relevant field.
  • Basic understanding of directories services (AD, LDAP).
  • Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems (Linux and Windows), configuration, and administration.
  • Basic experience in developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts.
  • Basic knowledge in applications, databases, cloud, web services.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, security event analysis, and correlation.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively, independently, or as part of a team.
