We are seeking a skilled Sushi Preparer to join our team at YNC Corporation. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality sushi dishes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient food preparation.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation and presentation techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) regularly.
- Experience working with electronic cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
