About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at 0758531 BC LTD. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and safe for our staff and customers.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that all kitchen activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant experience is essential.
  • Cuisine Specialties: Italian cuisine experience is an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and a team player.
