The Genetics Assistant Co-op Student will provide support to clinical staff in servicing patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling academic literature for clinical staff
- Coordinating genetic testing and liaising with genetic testing laboratories
- Tracking patient lab results
- Entering data into research and clinical databases
- Providing administrative support to clinic staff
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must possess:
- A degree in a science field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Maturity, dependability, and a pleasant demeanor
- The ability to relate to patients and maintain confidentiality
- A demonstrated self-starter with personal initiatives
