Role Overview
Nordsterne is in search of a talented Procurement Specialist dedicated to sourcing robotic technology for our cutting-edge humanoid robots. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Procurement Manager, gaining insights into our advanced robotic systems while enhancing our procurement and supply chain processes for research and development as well as production.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement lifecycle for technical components, including hardware, software, and networking elements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers in the robotics sector, ensuring a steady flow of innovative technology.
  • Work alongside product and operations teams to streamline procurement processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and international partners.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with various stages of the procurement process.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to establish performance metrics for suppliers.
  • Experience with Procurement Management Systems such as ERP, CRM, SCM, and e-Sourcing tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data and identify trends for optimizing procurement strategies.
